I just got the March issue of gameinformer and found out something very interesting. It says what games are being created for the new 3DS which will be coming out next month. Some games are retro, and one game was originally an iPhone app! Here is a list of the new/future 3DS games that gameinformer has shown us!
Sapph’s Edit: I just researched more 3DS titles on Wikipedia, and I found that a new animal crossing, mario kart, super mario bros, Star Fox 64 (The same game) and Tales of the Abyss will be remade for the 3DS. The new Tales makes me really happy, because that is the one tales game I have never played! Search Nintendo 3DS games on wikipedia for a full list of future 3DS games!
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D- Trust me, this looks awesome from the pics in the magazine, and it really looks like the old version for N64, but better!
Nintendogs + Cats- An updated version of the best-selling nintendogs series! This time, the graphics are different, there are new items, and you can own dogs and cats! That’s right- cat owners, it’s your time to shine! This is a must-have for any 3DS owner.
Ridge Racer 3D- This is one of two racing games that are going to be released, and this game also looks better than the retro ridge racer with better graphics!
Asphault 3D- Who would ever think my favorite racing series on the App Store comes to the 3DS! I think Gameloft is making a great move here (Gameloft is my favorite app publisher), but the graphics look worse on the 3DS and look better with the retina display on the iPhone/iPod Touch. This is my most wanted 3DS game!
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D- This game is totally different from any resident evil game and looks really cool. This is a must-have for any fan of the series.
Madden NFL Football- No surprise that EA sports would make a Madden for the 3DS.There’s nothing more to say except that the graphics will be better.
Kid Icarus: Uprising- Finally, we get a better taste of this series, and we can see why everyone loves Pit (except me). I have to admit that the graphics look amazing, but I don’t think it will appeal to me.
Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars- Really? ANOTHER ONE? WHEN WILL THEY STOP! This game looks no different from the other lego games, and the graphics are not that good. Let’s hope tediz gives this a horrible review! lol
PilotWings Resort- This game is just like the airplane game in Wii Sports Resort, and you use a mii to travel around Wuhu Island! You can also use a rocket and a hanglider! This game is my 2nd most wanted since I loved this in Wii Sports Resort. Dead Or Alive: Dimensions- I don’t know much about the dead or alive series, but this game looks sick, and of course, it has great graphics.
Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition- It’s the same as street fighter 4 with slighty better graphics, but it looks better on the app store with retina display. This game is a must-have for fighter game fans!
Combat Of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D- This game looks like a really cool dinosaur fighting game that looks promising. I might buy this one.
That’s It For Now, (finally) and hopefully we see more releases for the 3DS like a remake of a old pokemon version! The 3DS kicks ass! The 3DS is priced at $250, so save up your money and fill up your piggy banks! The 3DS will come out next month, and don’t forget to pick up the latest gameinformer issue to find out more about these games!]
