Sapphire11 here with an app review for Art of Glow! (The Pro Version)
Art of Glow is a really fun drawing app for your itouch/iphone/iPad! There is a free version of this app and a pro version for only $0.99. In Art of Glow, you draw whatever the heck you want to, except you use light graphics to draw them. You can change the design of the graphic and the color. The color options are single color, random color (for each time you take your finger off and draw again), or my personal favorite- fully random! Everything is transparent, glows, and has awesome graphics. In the pro version, you can save your artwork to your photos, and you can record your images! There are many other options you can fool around with in this app. I love this app, and it is very addicting. There is a free version of this app, but I recommend the pro version since you can save your work and record it. On Sapph’s Scale of Apps, this app gets a 5 out of 5 and is recommended to anyone who loves to draw and wants a very addicting app.
Below is an image I made specifically for this review. It says Universe Gaming Online in different colors, but the transparency won’t show. I changed the size of the letters, colors, graphic, and fooled around with other options- so enjoy the image!

Hey! tedizslayer here to review Doodle Jump.
Doodle Jump is one of those games that is easy to learn, but difficult to master. It’s also extremely addicting! Basically, you must guide this little guy named Doodler up an endless series of platforms, dodging monsters, UFO’s and black holes along the way. It never ends until you fall, so your goal is to get the highest score possible. You control Doodler simply by tilting you iPod to the left and right and by tapping the screen to fire. The controls are very fluent and accurate, and they are so simple that you can practically play anywhere. Along the way, you will find helpful items that will temporarily make Doodle’s journey a little easier: springs, trampolines, spring shoes, jetpacks, propeller caps, and shields, to name them. There are also a variety of platforms that you will encounter, many of which can make it even more difficult not to fall: some move back and forth, some explode after you jump on them once, and some are only there for a short period of time before disappearing. All platforms disappear once you move past them; you lose either when you fall past the bottom of the screen or collide with one of the previously mentioned enemies. Doodle Jump has gotten quite a lot of updates, and they give a variety of new themes, including underwater, space, Fifa World Cup, graveyard, and many, many more! Priced at only $0.99, this is one of the best and cheapest apps to get! I give it a 4/5.

Sapphire 11 here with an app review for Fruit Ninja! Things are about to get juicy!!!
Fruit Ninja is a really addicting app from HalfBrick in which you simply slash fruits in half by swiping your finger across your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad screen! Watch out for bombs that randomly appear, because if you swipe one, it is game over. There are a few game modes you can play: Classic, Zen, and Arcade Mode. In classic mode, you swipe as many fruits as you can before you miss 3 total fruits. Swiping a bomb by accident can make you lose, too. In Zen Mode, you have a time limit to swipe as many fruits as you can. Zen Mode also has no lives, and no bombs! In arcade mode, you swipe as many fruit as you can in 1 minute. There are also special fruits you can slash for special power ups! This game is game center enabled, so there is a multiplayer mode to verse other players in. You can also unlock new backgrounds and different blades by completing achievements. Also, Sensei gives you fruit wisdom after your game is done in any mode! On Sapph’s Scale of Apps, this app gets a 4.5 out of 5. It is a classic app on the app store. I recommend this app to any iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad owner. Check back soon for more great app reviews!

Sapphire 11 here with an app review for NOVA2
Since this app is a sequel, I will not go into full detail. NOVA 2 is a sci-fi first person shooter app on the App Store by Gameloft, and it is the sequel to NOVA. The app has a campaign mode and a multiplayer mode. The campaign takes place 6 years after the events in the first NOVA. In multiplayer, you can either choose Local Wi-Fi, Local Blue Tooth, or you can play online using your Gameloft account. This app really reminds me of Halo because of the futuristic feel to it. The guns are also similar to Halo. The campaign is really fun and challenging at times. I am on the 3rd mission of the campaign, and I love it. There are 12 missions for players to enjoy, lots of weapons, and new enemies that were not in the first NOVA. The multiplayer has similar game modes to Call of Duty and Halo. There is free for all, team deathmatch and capture the flag. You can customize your character with different skins, and you unlock different weapons as you level up. To be honest, I think that this app is better than any Call of Duty I have ever played, and Gameloft really knows how to make great apps! The graphics and controls really made me fall in love with this app, and I am not disappointed with it. While this game may be pricy at $6.99, it is well worth the 7 dollars, and you will not be disappointed on Sapph’s Scale of Apps. This app gets a well deserved 5 out of 5, and I recommend this game to anyone looking for a great shooter app.

Hey, xghostbustersx here with a review of Plants vs. Zombies.
Plants vs. Zombies originally came out for the computer, but it has also been released for iPods, iPhones, Xbox 360 arcades and soon the Nintendo DS. Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game where you have to use plants to defend your home from invading zombies. You must fight these zombies either during the day or night, and in the front yard, back yard, or on your own roof! There are many types of plants you can use. Some include peashooters, which deal damage to zombies, sunflowers, which give you sun so you can plant more plants, and walnuts, which pretty much act as a wall that zombies must get through. To plant these plants, you must collect sunlight, which either falls from the sky once every 10 or so seconds, or you have to plant sunflowers. As you play through the story mode, you will unlock new plants and face new zombies. I give it an almost perfect score, 4.5/5, because it is a very fun game, and for $2.99, it is a great buy- especially if you like tower defense games! Thanks for reading my review!

Sapph here with an app review for Tapulous’s Tap Tap Revenge 4!
Tap Tap Revenge 4 is the next installment in the best-selling Tap Tap series. If you have never heard of Tap Tap revenge, go on iTunes and search it, because this music game is awesome and everyone who has an iPhone, iPod Touch, or an iPad knows this app! There are a few features in TTR4 that were not in the other Tap Tap games, and since this is the 4th app in the series, I will not go into how the game is played. Just go to iTunes if you need that info. Some new features in this app are: like a song in the game and challenge other users who liked the same song, Game Center enabled, New Arcade Mode, Retina Display Support, Updated Graphics, Global Leaderboards, and a redesigned interface. You can also buy gear for your avatar using the coins you get, and as you level up, you automatically download new songs to play! There still is the store where you buy track packs from your favorite artists, and you can get free credits to get songs without using money. The store has many top artists like: Linkin Park, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, and much, much more! Just search for your favorite artist and see if they have their songs! That’s all I have to say for this game since this is just the next Tap Tap game, and everyone knows Tap Tap Revenge. On Sapph’s scale of apps, this app gets a 5 out of 5 and is the best music game on the App Store. I recommend this app for any music lover, and it should be chosen over a guitar hero or rockband app on the app store. Check back soon for yet another app review! Oh, and did I mention ITS FREE???

Sapphire11 here with the first ever app review!!! Today I will be reviewing The War of Eustrath!
When I first played this app, it reminded me of the GBA Fire Emblem games. The War of Eustrath is a strategy RPG app, and it is really fun. There are many characters you can control, and they all ride machines called GEARS. The GEARS allow you to use different attacks, but each attack costs energy. Your energy does regenerate after a while, so make sure you have some, or else you cannot attack! You can also use abilities like strength and aim. There are many missions to keep you occupied, and there are many items to use to upgrade your character’s stats. So far, I am on mission 17, and I am loving this app. This game is no doubt the best RPG available on the app store. Game art also pops out during the game, and I am unsure if you can see the art after you eventually beat the app. There are a few aspects of the App, though, that can be annoying. First, the music can get repetitive and annoying. Second, the characters’ dialogs can be repetitive, make no sense and just confuse you. Last, whenever you verse someone from the Magnificent Four, they leave after you leave them with low heath, and you’re then left with no enemies, and the mission is over. Other than those flaws, this app is amazing and is a must-have for any gamer who loved the gameplay and graphics of Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Luminous Arc. On Sapph’s Scale of Apps, this game gets a 4.5 out of 5. The War of Eustrath is priced at a special holiday price of $2.99, so head to the app store and get this great deal quickly before the app goes back to its regular price. Come back soon for yet another app review from yours truly!

Hello my friends! ruby331 here with a review on Super Monkey Ball 2.
Super Monkey Ball 2 is by far one of my favorite gmes for the Nintendo Gamecube. However, for the Ipod Tousch it is not even close. The entire game consists of over 50 levels and 3 minigames to play. The levels are very easy and you can use absurd shortcuts for the majority of them. In one particular level, if you just roll off of a ledge next to where you start, you drop directly down into the finish ring. The minigames are also very lackluster. Take the bowling game for instance, the pins and lane never change like they do in the Super Monkey Ball for Gamecube, and the spinning control is very hard to master. It’s just the same thing over and over again, flick and spin, flick and spin. Then again Super Monkey Ball 2 was a huge upgrade from the original Super Monkey Ball. This app scores a solid 6/10 on the ruby331 scale. See ya next time folks.
