ruby331 here reviewing Bomberman Blast for WiiWare.

I did not enjoy this game. This game is a disgrace to the other Bomberman games in the Bomberman series. For me, the only enjoyable aspect of this game was the graphics. They are very clean cut and cartoony, and they have a nice realistic touch. The rest of this game is awful. It is repetitive and serves almost no entertainment value. The game revolves around multiplayer action which is tough because not everyone has a buddy to play with. The Wifi connection is good and doesn’t slow down, but almost no one is available to play. I personally have waited at least five to eight minutes to play with someone wirelessly. This game is a waste of 1000 Wii points. I rate this game a 3/10 because it lacks the everything there is to make a good Bomberman game.

Hello, hello! ruby331 in the house with a yummy review on Cooking Mama: Cook Off!

Every time I play any Cooking Mama game, my tummy starts to rumble, and Cooking Mama: Cook Off made my mouth water too. In Cooking Mama: Cook Off, you use the Wii remote as a kitchen utensil to make delicious dishes (try saying that five times fast), and use it accordingly depending on what step of the recipe you are on. For instance, if you need to chop up some onion, then you make a rapid up and down motion with the Wii remote to do so. Depending on if you use the ingredients correctly and how fast you complete the recipe, you get either a good or a bad score. I learned the hard way that if you mix the bowl of ingredients too hard, Mama will get very, very mad. Unfortunately, the game does get glitchy, and the instructions before you start a recipe are very long and, therefore, annoying to read. Also, the Wii remote often incorrectly judges movements, so you might want to stir to the right, but instead, you end up stirring to the left. Cooking Mama: Cook Off scores a 7.8/10 because there are a few bugs that should have been weeded out. See you all next time, folks!

Hey everyone! ruby331 here reviewing Excitebike World Rally for WiiWare.

This classic revival of the NES superstar Excitebike is spectacular in every single way! The same pitching and steering controls are back, but you can know choose to pitch your bike by tilting the Wii Remote. Each and every level has the same basic traps and obstacles and a unique, lush form of scenery. For instance, if you want to play in Fiji, be prepared to be hit with a wave of tropical goodness! Excitebike World Rally also features a creative new track designer option. From there, you can build your own track and make it as wacky or as easy as you want. On top of all of that, you can also play with other players around the world on WiFi connection! Very similar to other WiiWare games, you may have to wait a fair amount of time in order to find a match though. You can get Excitebike World Rally in the Wii Shop Channel for only 1,000 Wii points- that’s a buy that you can’t deny. This extraordinary piece of WiiWare scores a 9/10 on the ruby331 scale. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Rush over to your Wii and purchase Excitebike World Rally now! You won’t be disappointed.

Sapphire11 here, and I’m viewing my favorite Wii game: Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn!

Everyone may think that this will be my longest review since Fire Emblem is my favorite game series, but I will just save that for a future video! Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn is the sequel to Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. The game start out with you playing as the Dawn Brigade, a band of young freedom fighters from Daien who are trying to free Daein from Begnion. The leader of the Dawn Bragade is Micaiah, a light-using mage. After doing lots of stuff, they free Daein, Crimea almost gets into a civil war, The Greil Mercenaries side with the Laguz, and everybody defeats the goddess, and blah blah blah. (We already know the story and characters lol) Like all sequels, I thought Radiant Dawn would not be good, but thankfully, I was wrong, and the game was awesome. The storyline was excellent, although I think part2 should of been longer, and the graphics were great. Although I liked PoR’s battle scenes more, I liked how in Radiant Dawn showed the character’s last words after you see them fall to the floor (sort of…). The game should of been rated T, but i think it’s E10 so youngsters can witness Fire Emblem’s incredible chess-like gameplay and wonderful music and storyline. Just like other Fire Emblem games, the game is very strategic because it is chess like, and as usual, it has great music and most of what you expect from a Fire Emblem game. To sum up, Fire Emblem is an excellent RPG game and shows why Fire Emblem is one of the best and if not the best RPG series of all time! I would of gave the game a 9.5 if it had battle sheets like in PoR and a 10 if it had the battle sheets, longer parts, and Wi-Fi.

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn gets a 9 out of 10 Note: the picture below is not the real game cover, but it does look cool!

Hi there- Tibbow is here to review Goldeneye 007.

Goldeneye 007- with quite similar game play to most other shooting games, like the Call of Duty series, Goldeneye is an exciting game that is roughly based off of the movie Goldeneye 007. Unfortunately, lacking any innovative game modes that shooting games have been known to sport these days, this review may be a bit short. (Not Really)
A multiplayer game mode that outshines the campaign significantly is included. The controls- at least with the gamecube controller with standard controls (Multiple control schemes and the use of the wii remote or the classic controller are possible)- are quite similar to any other shooter or James Bond game for the gamecube. R is to shoot, a is to sprint, y is to throw a grenade, the d-pad can change the current weapon being used, x is to crouch, L is to aim down one’s sights, and the final and most annoying one is b+z to use a melee attack. The maps, for the most part, are unique and well-designed; my personal favorite is the archives, which is a relatively small place with numerous hot spots for action and an excellent choice for any shotgun users. Other notable ones are as follows: the outpost and station, gargantuan maps, are most notable for their sniping capabilities, though the use of a sub machine gun or an assault rifle is possible as well. The nightclub and facility are average-sized maps in which any type of gun or strategy can be used- thus, the nightclub’s halls promote close-quarter combat. The docks and jungle are usually less preferred by users; these are both large, mostly open maps where both snipers and machine gunners lurk. Now onto the sometimes loved, sometimes not campaign. Daniel Craig (Surprisingly not Pierce Brosnan, whom the movie character was) is James Bond. Like any other James Bond video game, one is sent on countless spy missions, doing “spy things”- collecting data, exploding buildings, escaping from exploding buildings and rescuing/rendezvousing with the finest of hollywood’s hotties. In the first mission, Bond is sent with a man named “006″- they find that the “Janus” group are using an EMP- hardened helicopter. The mission can take anywhere from 25 minutes to 35, depending on the skill of the player. The storyline is quite interesting, though the missions do require one to complete additional objectives if playing on an advanced level is desired. These objectives, though, are sometimes a challenge to complete, and they cumulate as more intense difficulties are played on. For example, in one level it is requested that Bond finds an enemy’s contact list hidden in his office. Usually, a task as stoic as that would not prove cumbersome, yet finding it is not a walk in the park. After searching for at least 10 minutes, I checked youtube and it turned out that shooting a painting that I did not even realize was present was mandatory. That was frustrating, and I decided to play on the objective-free difficulty from then on, which is no challenge whatsoever. One aspect of Goldeneye that caught my eye was the surprisingly enjoyable online multiplayer. Being able to customize one’s class and rank up is a given aspect; being able to choose from more than 5 excellent game modes is not. To reiterate, ALL of the game modes in Goldeneye are outstanding and are worth playing. Conflict and team conflict are a given- the standard deathmatch is always fine. Golden Gun, though not very unique, is a game mode where players fight to get the golden gun and use it to kill opponents. (The golden gun is a one-hit kill, like oddjob’s hat.) If the player holding it dies, it is dropped and another person can obtain it. Black box is a unique mode where MI6 is sent to destroy the black box (The yellow suitcase), and the other team must hold onto it and collect its data. Goldeneye is an interesting mode where each team is sent to obtain “consoles” for their team by hacking into them with their smartphones in an attempt to get the Goldeneye sattelite over the other team’s base, which is done by owning the majority for an extended period of time. Heroes is another game mode where one player on a team can choose to be the “hero”, who is a pimped out soldier (Or James Bond with MI6) with the highest-level equipment with an exorbitant amount of health. The only cost is, when the other team kills the hero, the points awarded for doing such a thing is enormous. Three other rooms are locked to higher-level players exclusive to the best players. In those, a radar is not present for use, and weapons do more damage. This renders silencers nearly useless, though..

That is pretty much it for Goldeneye. Only one other thing- a lot of the bad maps are extremely dark, making it a challenge to spot people; darkness, as common as it is, really stinks. I would give this game an 8.5/10 for a strong multiplayer mode and a good campaign. Tibbow Out.
(Yeah, Tibbow writes some pretty mean, long reviews)

Hi everyone! ruby331 here reviewing Lego Indiana Jones.

In Lego Indiana Jones, you follow the three original storylines from each of the three Indiana Jones movies. As you complete one story line, you unlock the next. Along the way, you unlock a huge cast of characters, including Han Solo. There really is not much to this game in terms of gameplay; each character has a basic set of moves, and the combat is extremely repetitive. The story line and large amount of playable characters is what really makes the game respectable. Also, the environments are fun to explore and play around with, but getting stuck because of lack of direction can and often does happen. Compared to the other games in the Lego series, though, this one is a real bummer. Overall, Lego Indiana Jones gets a 5/10 on the ruby331 scale. Let’s hope that Lego Indiana Jones 2 does a little bit better than this one!

Hello, ruby331 here reviewing Little Tournament Over Yonder for WiiWare.

Although this seems appealing, I assure you that it is not. Basically, you choose to play as a Prince or Princess and enter a tournament that involves killing your opponents on a turn-based grid. I personally thought that this sounded great, but boy, was I wrong. After I picked my Prince, I was immediately rushed on to the battle field without any instruction at all. You basically move your units around until they are touching the enemy unit so you can enter a real time battle. In these battles, you run around and hit A for a regular attack or B for a special attack (Both have to regenerate over a certain amount of time after you use them). These battles are completely unfair because you have no advantage over your opponent unless you are connected with your other units. IF and only IF you want to win without having any fun, throw your Prince or Princess out to the front line and spam the B attack. It is a heat-seeking magic blast that does way too much damage. In all, with nearly no storyline, horrific gameplay and an overall upsetting atmosphere, this game scores a 2/10 on the ruby331 scale. Please, do not waste 1,000 Wii points on this abomination.

Hello everyone! ruby331 here reviewing Mario Strikers Charged.

There’s not much of a story line in Mario Strikers Charged, but quite frankly, it’s a soccer game… I don’t think I would want a story line for that. Anyways, the controls are very simple and fun to use. You tackle by shaking the Wii remote, and everything else is controlled by the A and B buttons. You can challenge friends to an exhibition match, work your way through the Striker Cup, or play on WiFi and battle others to get to rank number one. In the striker cup, you play through three different tournaments consisting of either six, eleven, or fifteen games. When you beat the last two cups, you unlock two characters to play as in exhibition mode (Petey Piranha and Diddy Kong). Each cup is harder than the last, and you have to play more games to win. For some players, the final cup can actually be quite a challenge, so good luck! The WiFi play is very good and hardly ever slows down or lags. Before you play a match, it tells you your connection quality with the other player rated on a scale of one to five. If your playing with someone and you know that you have a one star connection rating, don’t expect it to be a great match. You can either play with someone who is around your rank, or you can play with your friends if you have them on your Friends List. The only thing that I can complain about is that when you gain items and a lot of them are being used, the game turns into more of a chaotic warzone than a soccer field. Overall, Mario Strikers Charged scores an 8.5/10 on the ruby331-o-meter. I would suggest buying this game if you’re looking for good WiFi and a fun spin on soccer (otherwise, FIFA is always good).

Hello everybody, this is tedizslayer, here to give you my very first review, on none other than the Metroid Prime Trilogy!

Having always been a fan of the Metroid series, I had high hopes for the trilogy coming out on Wii. While not having any new installments for the Metroid story, MPT is a great collection of some of Samus Aran’s best adventures yet. The package contains the three console Metroid Prime games- Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The first two games have been brought up to Corruption’s standards of motion sensitivity, as well as more impressive graphics that the Wii can produce. The games come in one disc, along with a collector’s case and custom art/story foldout. The plot of the story goes along the lines of this: As Samus Aran is called upon by the Galactic Federation, she is confronted with mysterious attacks and destructions of innocent planets and their various races. Behind it all is the mysterious Dark Samus, an evil being that has taken Samus’s form and has her powers, plus some other abilities that come from the mysterious Phazon substance. [Just think of Link vs. Dark Link.] Along the way to restore peace and defeat evil, Samus will team up with the Galactic Federation, as well as other bounty hunters that want to support the cause. Many bosses and enemies block the way to victory, including the series-renowned Space Pirates, and Samus’s old rival, Ridley. [Did you know that Ridley has been in every Metroid adventure to date, with the exception of Metroid Prime Hunters for the DS?] The controls, while taking some time to get used to, are spot-on with motion sensitivity, and the gripping story is hard to forget. Also, the Metroid Prime Trilogy has a series-exclusive ability to take in-game screenshots. Included as well among the modes is the stellar multiplayer mode from MP2: Echoes. All in all, the Metroid Prime Trilogy is an amazing game that any gamer, hardcore or easygoing, is sure to enjoy. The game, a true masterpiece, deserves a 9.5/10. Well, that’s all I have to say. Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back with another review soon!

What’s going on everyone? ruby331 here with a review on MLB power Pros 2008.

If you are a baseball fan and also a casual gamer, then this game is a must have. MLB Power Pros is unlike any other baseball game because all the players are cte and mini looking. The game consists of several fun modes such as:  Success mode, Season mode, and MLB Life mode. In success mode you create a player and guide him from the AA to the major leagues. In season mode you take control of your favorite MLB team and play through an entire season acting as the GM. However, you can also choose to play in an actual game if you want by controlling the entire team. Lastly, in MLB Life mode you live the life of your favorite MLB pro.  There is even a mode where you can import your miis and play as them. Each mode provides hours and hours of fun that you and your entire family could enjoy. The only complaint I had is that the Success mode is really hard and if you fail on your first few times you will probably never do it again. One of my favorite aspects of this game is that the graphics are so different. All the players have spheres for hands, no legs, and have a giant head an a little body. Not to mention the the stadiums are very vibrant and detailed. The combination of these two makes the graphics really bouncy and fun and therefore kid friendly. The other element that makes this game so fantastic is that it’s not just for kids. Hardcore baseball fans would also enjoy controlling and customizing their favorite MLB team. MLB Power Pros 2008 scores a solid 9.2/10 on the ruby331 scale. Until next time folks!

Hello, this is tedizslayer, here to give my review on New Super Mario Bros. Wii!

Just like every other Mario game, I found this one to be very fresh and exciting. It offered the same ol’ Mario greatness in platforming and sidescrolling while adding in some new content. I can best describe it as being a combination of New Super Mario Bros. (the one for DS), Super Mario World, and somewhat Super Mario Galaxy. It is the same old story of Princess Peach being captured, though this time, it is by Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings (Ludwig von Koopa, Lemmy Koopa, Roy Koopa, Iggy Koopa, Wendy O. Koopa, Morton Koopa Jr., and Larry Koopa). Mario immediately sets out to save her, accompanied by Luigi and two Toads, a blue and a yellow one. You will always be Mario in single player, but in multiplayer, 2nd, 3rd and 4th players can choose from the other characters to use. You must travel through eight worlds, trailing the airship containing Princess Peach, Bowser Jr., and the steadily decreasing Koopalings. A Koopaling is designated to each world; you must first defeat them in the mid-way tower and then later at the ending castle. After beating the Koopaling for that world, you will have a cutscene of Mario chasing the airship to yet another world in search of the princess. In addition to the Koopalings as bosses, there are several (many, actually) additions to the game. An undoubtedly key component of this game is its stellar multiplayer versatility. This includes: joining in on the main story (which can make the levels a lot easier to complete), a “battle” mode in which you can choose from select levels that are especially fun in multiplayer and battle it out, and a coin match in which players compete to get coins, while at the same time sabotaging their foes. While the game is very fun in single player, the multiplayer can’t be beaten; whether you decide to help or hurt your fellow gamers, the multiplayer in this game will bring lots of laughs and screams. Another new aspect of the game is the addition of Yoshi. The usage of Yoshi is just like that of Super Mario World, except for the fact that you can only use him in select levels – even if you beat the level with Yoshi still at your side, Mario will hop off, wave goodbye, and continue on to the next level. As I just mentioned, every other aspect is like Super Mario World, whether it be Yoshi’s ability to eat and hold enemies (or fellow players!) in his mouth, or eat a select number of the dangling fruit in each level and produce a power-up as a reward. The final major addition was the array of new items, which are the Ice Flower, Propeller Cap, Penguin Suit, and POW Block. The Ice Flower acts like the Fire Flower except that it freezes enemies rather than hurting or killing them. You can then stand by the frozen enemy and press 1 on the Wii Remote while briefly shaking it to pick it up. You can run around with the block of ice and release 1 to throw it at enemies or friends alike (*you can similarly pick up and throw friends in the multiplayer mode*). The Propeller Cap is simple but fun. Shake the Wii Remote to zip up in the air, and glide around, pressing down on the control pad to twist down in a hurry. It’s extremely helpful on levels when you’re up in the clouds. The Penguin Suit is somewhat similar to the Ice Flower in that you can also throw ice and freeze enemies. In addition to that, you can run and slide to gain speed and hurt enemies and swim faster when underwater. The POW Block isn’t technically a power-up, but it is an item found in some stages that you can pick up and throw to defeat all nearby enemies and make a large amount of coins fall from the sky. The only power-up to be taken out of the game from the last New Super Mario Bros. is the Mega Mushroom, but with all of the other new things, it is not very much missed. The game also includes minigames within itself; these include the Mushroom Houses, which still give you either power-ups or 1-ups, but this time require a game to be played (Red ones, which give you powerups, consist of a matching game, and Green ones, which consist of a timed barrel blast to hit as many targets as you can), the Toad rescue, which there are actually two types of, where you either dodge enemies and rescue him or find him in a marked level and bring him to the end. Items earned through these mingames will be stored in a menu that can be selected from the World map and can be applied to Mario and company before starting each level; unfortunately, they cannot be applied within the level itself. That would be too easy, though, right? The Star Coins also returned in this game, and unlocking them will enable you to buy helpful movies from Peach’s Castle at the beginning of World 1. These movies show a master Mario player reaching secret goals, hidden Star Coins, secret 1-up chains, or just showing off mad skills. It’s nothing special, but it’s a nice touch. There isn’t much more to say about the game except to mention the great design throughout the game. All of the levels are cleverly crafted, and even the World maps were worth taking a moment to stop and view, and say “Wow.” Overall, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a great game that has been well-crafted for fans old or new, wishing to play solo or in a group. It includes Super Mario World’s defining elements (such as being able to use Yoshi and battling the Koopalings as bosses), New Super Mario Bros.’s crisp, up-to-date gameplay, and Super Mario Galaxy’s slight implementation of motion controls as well as great graphics. I give this game an 8.5/10 – it’s one that will still be played among friends and family years from now.

Hello, this is ruby331 reviewing Okami!

Okami starts off pretty slow because you have to sit through several cinematics telling you about the plot. In these cinematics, you learn that there is an ancient evil threatening to destroy the world, and Okami is the only one who can stop that from happening. Even more important than that though is that, in the cinematic, you also find out that you are Okami Amaterasu, the reincarnation of the Japanese sun god! It turns out that Okami had been asleep for almost 100 years, and with the world being torn asunder and all, the wood sprite Sakuya woke Okami up to save the world (how original)! The graphics are breathtaking as they are drawn in a uninque Japanese style that comes to 3D very well. When it comes time to actually start playing the game, the controls are a bit frustrating and you have to learn a lot of them on your own. Fortunately, you find a little flea named Issun who climbs into your fur and annoyingly tells you what to do for the rest of the game. As you progress further into the game, you meet a variety of hilarious characters. Not only will they help you out by providing useful information, but they will also make you laugh along the way! Whether it be the quirky way they talk or by the clever things they, you will be falling onto the floor laughing. as you get further into the game, you will unlock new weapons, gain special power-ups and even make a few friends. To end, Okami scores an 8/10. Okami is affordable, fun, and it lasts a long time! Next time that you are down at Gamestop, purchase Okami- it’ll definitely be worth your while.

Hi Everyone! ruby331 here reviewing One Piece Unlimited Adventure.

The game starts off with a gorgeous cinematic of the Straw Hat Pirates (Luffy, Sanji, Nami, Robin, Zolo, Chopper, Usopp, and Franky) sailing the sea on their boat. Luffy is off to the side of the boat fishing when he fishes up a beautiful blue orb. Realizing that they are out of food on the ship, Nami sends Luffy to the Crows’ Nest to look for land. Luffy then screams something like “Land come out come out wherever you are.” Shortly after, Luffy’s newfound orb starts to glow, and an actual island pops up in front of the ship. The island makes the sea churn, so the ship flies up in the air, and the Straw Hat crew goes with it. Now, you’re playing as Luffy alone on the island. You then decide to find your crewmates and explore the island! The best aspect of this game is its graphics. They are the type of graphics you’d see on an Xbox360 or PS3 game. Because the game takes place on an island, everything is sunny and clean cut (remind you of Super Mario Sunshine?!). At first, the gameplay is a little rickety. You have no guidance as to where to go first, so you may have some trouble finding where to go. I for one am not a fan of the controls. They are not free at all and are controlled by combinations of button- pressing or shaking of the Wii remote. Each character has different moves, but they are all controlled in the same way. As the game progresses, you unlock new moves and higher- level hits by using a character a lot. For instance, if I was to play as Luffy throughout the whole game, all my other characters would be at level one with only one usable attack. It’s a very choppy leveling system. Also, as you go along you fight bosses that are enemies from previous games. When you fight each boss, you unlock them to play as in two player mode. The multiplayer is probably the worst part of this game. You can either play 2P team battle or a survival mode. In 2P team battle, you basically select characters to play as, and each character costs a certain amount of points. Stronger characters cost up to 5 points, while weaker characters cost 1. In the end, your only allowed to have up to 8 points worth of characters or 15 points worth of characters depending on the setting you choose. The combat is a joke; basically, the character you play has all of their moves unlocked and you fight in arena- based fashion. Once again, I don’t like the controls, so naturally I hate the combat. Overall, this game has great graphics and a wonderful storyline but unimpressive controls and combat. This game scores a 6/10 on the ruby331 scale.

Hello, this is ruby331 reviewing the new WiiWare game: Swords and Soldiers!

I really enjoyed this game! It has a very quick and quirky story line with over 25 challenging levels to play through. You have an option to play as the Vikings, The Aztecs, or an ancient Chinese culture. Each faction has their own set of special abilities and set of characters. Although the characters are different within each faction, they all have the same basic functions. For instance, each faction has a long ranged specialist, for the Vikings it’s an axe thrower. For the Aztecs, it’s a poison dart blower. Lastly, for the Chinese culture there are flying rocket men. The same principal applies for a combat unit and a specialty unit. The games graphics are very bouncy and cartoony but they are nevertheless done very well. There is also an interesting achievent system which allows you to unlock achievments based on what you do in during gameplay. The multiplayer of this game is a little bit shoddy and therefore the only part of the game I wouldn’t give a good reccomendation for. I would rate this game an 8/10 because it gets redundant after playing for a few hours. In total I would reccomend this Wiiware game to any fan of sidescrolling war games and cartoony graphics. Your next purchase on the Wii Shop Channel should be that of Swords and Soldiers, try it out it’s a good game it wont bite!!

ruby331 here with a review on Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Before I start this review, I must say that I can’t believe none of our staff have done this review yet. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an award-winning game that provides hours upon hours of fun. The game has a few seperate modes, so I will discuss each of them. First off is the solo or Subspace Emissary mode. This is Brawl’s story mode and revolves around playing all of the games’ characters until each of them meets up. The Brawl mode allows you to fight your friends with several different rule sets and items. The Wifi mode enables you to play with other players online and to create a friends list of your favorite brawlers. The Vault or Create mode allows you to make custom stages and review snapshots and videos that you have taken in game. The combat is very simple, yet exciting. Your attacks revolve around the A and B buttons and the control stick. The point is to hit people until their HP or percentage gets high and you can hit them off of the stage. If you can do this then you will be awarded with a kill. A very fun new feature that was added to this game is the “Smash Ball”; when hit, you can get a “Final Smash”, which is a unique special move. Every character has a different one, so don’t be afraid to try them all. If you like the Wii then SSBB is a must have! Super Smash Bros. Brawl scores a 10/10 on the ruby331 scale.

What’s up everybody? ruby331 here with a stellar review of Wii Sports Resort.

What do you get when you mix a huge group of friends, new and improved motion sensitive controllers, a plethora of sports games, and a flatscreen TV? You guessed right, the nintendo Wii at its finest. Wii Sports Resort is really nothing like Wii Sports. Instead of five bland sports to choose from, there are now over fifteen. Wii Sports Resort also takes place on a beautiful tropical island which makes the graphics breathtaking, and the connection to the game so much easier. The actual game consits of you (and preferably a friend as well) selecting one of your Miis and playing some fun and unique sports. For instance, Tedizslayer and I would play “Swordfighting” all of the time and have really intense matches. This game is perfect for beginners because you only have to follow one set of rules, and there aren’t any hardcore button combos or anything like that. This game is also really great for a family because there is virtually no inappropraite content, and the game’s concept is simple enough that anyone can play. The only thing that comes to mind that bothered me about this game is the fact that you need to have a Wii Motion plus (which allows the controller to have drastically improved motion sensitivity). If you only have one, then two people can’t play the game. Wii Sports Resort socres a 9.1/10 on the ruby331 scale. Keep it up, Nintendo. Your fans love these simple but elegant games like this.
